Apartment Review for Whispering Pines Apartments-Rental Ofc - Colorado Springs, CO

This place is a DUMP! They show you a nice apt and then give you a different place when it's time to move in that is NOT in good shape. Glass all over the carpet, windows that don't shut, water spraying out of the washer connections all over the floor, and animal urine all over the walls( not even painted over). These apts are not safe, either. The kitchen ceiling lights fall off the ceiling (fell on my head), outlets shorting out all the time, nickle and dime you ($10/month for dumpster, $30 month for water and we don't even use any), dog poop all over any area with grass, METH HOUSE APT that was never cleaned up (check out the list on CS police dept website, RIMVIEW DR). The parking is NOT sufficient. I have to walk 5 miles to my apt with groceries, b/c people have 2 or three cars that don't run parked in the close spaces. The dumpsters are always overflowing and trash blows all over the place. The pet deposit is VERY expensive,and most people don't abide by it anyways. They rent to 18 year olds who have parties at all hours and play loud music. I am NOT renewing my lease and since I didn't give 60 days WRITTEN notice that I was not renewing, they are charging me $230 for one week past my lease end date. READ THE FINE PRINT. They have tons of it. Management office could care less about any issues with apts. They close early half the time with no notice. Take my advice...don't waste your time or $$!!!!
