Apartment Review for Union Heights - Colorado Springs, CO

I really wish I would have believed all the bad reviews before I moved here. The noise is absolutely horrible, the office staff is rude and disrespectful, and the maintenance people might as well not even be around. If you have any kind of problem, you can count the office team as useless because they won't help you and will even treat you like an idiot for trying to get them to help you. The only thing they care about is getting people in units, and after that, you have to fend for yourself. I have had several things break while I have lived here and had to resort to having my boyfriend fix it because the maintenance people either never showed up or told me to "wait it out to see if it stops". I have had many sleepless nights because of the extreme noise and can even clearly hear my neighbors talking. It also usually takes about 2-3 days for the office to get back to you about problems, and that's only if you call them every single day! Do not let the outside appearance fool you. Sure...they have a beautiful new clubhouse, but it's only open 10-6, so not very convenient for people who work...since you DO have to work to rent an apartment! They also told me that the maintenance people are the people doing all of the apartment upgrades, which explains the shotty job! For the amount of money they expect people to pay, you're seriously better off renting or buying a house! It's about the same with a lot less hassle!
