Apartment Review for Parkside Apt's - Colorado Springs, CO

I recently moved out after spending a nightmare of a year at this place. I put $150 towards the deposit plus $200 for a pet deposit. Be prepared, you won't get your money back unless you are willing to spend two months fighting with management and office staff over outrageous charges. They conveniently "lost" my move in sheet which had all of the damage we found when we moved in which included (but was definately NOT limited to) huge bleach stains, dents in the floor and walls, crayon drawing on the bedroom doors, far from clean kitchen and bathroom and warped kitchen floor. When I moved out they charged me for that plus pet cleaning which they stated cost them $200 each time they clean an apartment and I was "lucky" they didn't charge me that. Did I mention I had a miniature dachshund. I assure you she did not do $200 in damage. Plus I cleaned the carpet before I left. It was better than when I arrived. Noise is never taken care of...office staff doesn't care and don't expect the security company to either. Parking is a disaster too. You only get one covered spot even if you live in a two bedroom or have two cars. Good luck even being able to park in your reserved spot. Once again, don't expect the office or security to do anything. All around, I am disguisted with this company and would seriously recommend looking elsewhere. Management is a nightmare from my experience (as well as others I've talked to) and I am SO glad to be out of there.
