Apartment Review for Hyde Park Apartments - Colorado Springs, CO

This is my first experience renting an apartment. The office staff was so nice and promised so many things. I've lived in these apartments for 5 months now and the sink is still not working, the refrigerator leaks, a 30 year old window broke when I opened it and they made me pay for it, and the maintence people (who didn't end up fixing anything adequately) left a huge and disgusting mess--even using our bathroom. New carpet was promised within a month and it's been 5 months. Phone calls are rarely answered or returned and when they are, the office staff is rude, unprofessional and inconsiderate. The staff says it's 'not their problem' when the neighbors are having a loud, violent fight, even though it is in the contract to keep the noise level down. The pool looks nothing like the picture so don't be fooled. I really can't say one positive thing about these apartments. I highly recommend that you look elsewhere.
