Apartment Review for Homewood Point Apartments - Colorado Springs, CO

I have lived there for over 2 years and have been complaining about the shotty construction work. I live on the first floor. The construction men put in a ventalation system incorrectly on the roof and it has been leaking down all 3 floors. It took the upstairs neighbor about a 1 year before they came and fixed the second bedroom wall, which was soaked from all the rain and snow melt. Where does all that rain water and snow melt go?? Right down the wall where mold is now growing in my apartment and the smell of it will nock you out when you open the front door. Not to mention the mold growing by the door to the patio. Which the maintaince guys idea of fixing is"paint" over it. That was about 7 mos ago. Now it is coming thru the paint again. I have made numerous complaints and they refuse to call, fix or move me. I've had to move my children out for health reasons which now I am suffering. If you know anything about mold run, run, run as fast as you can. I know what mold can do to your health I've been thru it before!! The manager is a big freakn JOKE!! Oh and did I mention that these apartments are income sensitive. Meaning that the government/city gives them a tax break. They have to abide by health regulations which THEY ARE NOT. So I'm having to find how I can go after the manager, maintance man and owners for living in unihabitable environment.
