Very Pretty Grounds and Nice Management
Review Date: 8/21/2008 Reviewer: Anonymous
The Glenpond apartment complex was built back in the 1970's, so it's older, but nicely maintained. I never saw a single insect or mouse the entire year I lived there. My 1 bedroom apartment was about 200 sq ft bigger than other I looked at that were similarly priced. The grounds were beautiful, with a pond and lots of flowers. There is no pool or fitness center, but there is a clubhouse on the pond and a laundry room with coin operated machines. The apartment community was mostly couples with one or two children, elderly ladies with their cats, and a few military. It was pretty quiet, although I could hear my neighbor's TV through the wall some nights. Security was ok, the parking lot and pathways are well lit, and there was both a bottom lock and a deadbolt on my door. However, several cars where broken into while I lived there. The management is very nice, knew me by name, and came immediately when I requested repairs. The apartment is about 15 mins from Ft. Carson. You are allowed to have cats with a pet deposit, but no dogs. Glenpond doesn't offer luxurious accomedations, but it's great place for someone on a budget that wants a clean, well maintained place to live with great staff. |
