Apartment Review for Fountain Springs Apartments - Colorado Springs, CO

Safety- First of all the safety is an issue. This so called "gated community", hah, that's a joke. The front gate has never been secured since I have moved here. Which brings me to another point, my husbands car speaker and cb radio was stolen out of our car. Maybe it's the ghetto people being allowed to just drive through the area at night because the gates never closed. Parking- It's not bad if you don't move your car from an uncovered space. They offer covered parking, but its down and around the corner from your residence. Meaning, unless you want to walk 2 blocks with an arm full of groceries then I suggest you don't park in it. Apperance- The apartments themselves are not bad. New features like and icemaker make up for the stained kitchen floor and carpets. Office Staff- We never had a problem with them. They seem to be nice. However, don't expect them to call you... you will probably have to call them multiple timesto get anything done. Condition of Unit- The carpets are disgusting. Unless you are lucky and got new ones before you moved in. There were stains every where like nobody cleaned it before moving out. Noise Level- BEWARE... the walls are paper thin. Our neighbors love to blast music at random hours of the day. Even worse, the people have a bass which rattles the walls. And don't think about making a noise complaint, because the police won't do anything... I find it easier to just go there myself! Overall Rating- I like it and I am staying, but thats because everything else around here is old as dirt and even nastier... Next time I will just rent a house.
