Apartment Review for Fountain Springs Apartments - Colorado Springs, CO

Let me tell you ONE good thing about the place......The apartments are VERY nice looking. But, looks CAN be deceiving. Me, my husband and daughter lived here for 6 months before we were ORDERED by my husbands SGT'S to move out for our Safety. We moved in during June. Literally, not even 3 days later we were trying to get OUT!! When we were moving in we had set some of our things on the porch out of the way, not even an hour later I look out the window and couple were walking off with our stuff! My husband had to run out to them and get our stuff back. In December a police officer was shot on the road viewable from our porch. (comforting, huh?) Seeing the police, ambulance, and firetrucks were an everyday thing. We would come home and find teens smoking weed (yes weed) in the walkways, children running everywhere, parties every night...... it was a nightmare! The cops are literally 2 or 3 blocks away and take 3 to 4 hours to get to you if you call them. I have lived in other apartments before, but I will never ever live here again or recomend anyone to ever live here. Management is rude and were never helpful and maintenance was just CREEPY! As if that wasn't enough, the apartments were nice looking, but horribly put together. This place just all around SUCKS! We had to receive army orders before they would let us out of our lease.
