Apartment Review for Champions At Norwood - Colorado Springs, CO

I've lived in this complex for a little over a year and a half and have not had a good experience. I had a family emergency recently where my husband and I had to move. We had about 4 months to go and were not able to get out of it unless we found someone to sub-lease. The office also said that they would put us first on the list if someone wanted a one bedroom. It was a blatant lie. We saw someone just this week moving into a one bedroom. Also, my car has been broken into twice. The parking is horrible unless you want to pay $100 more a month for a garage. They pack all the apartments in the same area so that there is no parking so you almost have to purchase a garage or walk across the whole complex. Also, the other day our door lock broke and we got locked in our apartment. I tried to call the "emergency maintenance" 3 times and no one answered. Overall, the office staff does not have any compassion, is poorly managed, and is just trying to suck as much money out of people as possible.
